Meet the Medical Team

Stuart-TurnanskyStuart Turnansky, MD in Downtown Phoenix

Stuart grew up in Whitefish Bay, Wisconsin. He attended medical school at the University of California-Irvine, and focused his postgraduate medical education on physical medicine, including medical physical therapy modalities.

After moving to Phoenix 20 years ago, Stuart continued his work as a family practice physician. His interest in and emphasis of conservative, medical physical therapy modalities for the relief of musculoskeletal pain grew. He joined the staff of CITY Health Services, and is proud to work at a practice that carries out a multi-functional, multi-modality comprehensive medical treatment plan that yields consistently positive results for patients. CITY Health’s high patient improvement and satisfaction rates prove him correct in saying, “A lot of people do what we do, but we do it better.”

Stuart and his family, including his wife and two college-age children, live in Phoenix. Both children participate in college athletics. His wife teaches preschool. Stuart enjoys swimming, bicycling, and reading.
